Abstract
In this paper we demonstrate three important things to present Greek Theorem to find the tangent line to a circle in its general form without using trigonometry. Were employed discriminant properties and also prove your property without having to solve the whole polynomial. Was found the point of tangency, the general equation passing through the nip and be perpendicular to the radius of the circle. Then perform an example for a particular case of the application of the method and demonstrated Greek Theorem for the general case.
