Abstract
Digitalization is the use of digital technology in modern world. It helps to utilize the modern technology of the world. New techniques of science and technology helped the society to do miracles in the world and encourage everyone to utilize it in best possible way. It helps in gaining degrees or certificates through distance education. Distance education is the education in which students do not attend classes regularly in schools. It is delivered to students through internet or online courses. It helps them in gaining unlimited knowledge at any time. The students can choose the course of their own choice. One can learn at their own pace. This paper aims at explaining the role of digitalization in distance education.
