Abstract
Today’s age is of unparalleled options to connect globally through various communication systems. Language instructors now use various methods and digital technology to enhance language learning inside classrooms. However, challenges such as infrastructure gaps, digital divide, and inadequate teacher training remain significant. One key issue is that choices regarding the use of technology often prioritise technical capabilities over educational needs. Digital tools like mobile devices, desktops, and ICT tools can streamline English teaching, but the readiness of students across Kerala varies significantly. This paper explores the specific challenges and prospects of using digital tools from Malappuram, Kerala English teaching contexts and evaluates their future role in transforming education.
