Abstract“Actions speak louder than words” is a well-known saying that highlights how people's actions reveal their true attitudes more than their words do. Communication is a vital component of our daily life. In the classroom, there is a strong connection between teacher communication and student motivation. Both verbal and non-verbal actions by teachers can significantly influence how motivated students feel. For example, when teachers praise students' efforts, use humour, encourage participation, and interact with students outside of class, they create a positive and motivating learning environment. Teachers' behaviours, both spoken and unspoken, play a key role in building a closer relationship with students. By being approachable and supportive, teachers can set an example for students, helping them develop communication skills that encourage engagement. The quality, type, and amount of non-verbal communication used by teachers are crucial in making their instruction clear and effective.
