Abstract
We described herein,rnefficient, convenient and green chemistry approach for the synthesis ofrnflavanones 2a-2i. We synthesized chalcones under basic condition usingrnsonication. All synthesized chalcones were converted to correspondingrnflavanones by microwave irradiation. We used Silica-HCl catalyst for thernconversion of chalcone into flavanones under microwave irradiation.
