Abstract
India’s Look East policy (LEP) which was upgraded to Act East policy (AEP) during the India- ASEAN summit in Myanmar in 2014 of November has been playing an active role specially in military and security diplomacy in East and South East Asia. Whereas North Eastern region cannot be easily accessible from the mainland with Bangladesh’s cooperation, positive relations with India’s South Asian neighbors will remain crucial for enhancing land connectivity with South East Asia. This paper attempts to highlights how tourism can collaborate the Act East policy in the North East region since tourism has become the most thriving industry in today’s world.
