Assess the knowledge regarding electro cardiogram among final year b.sc nursing students in Narayana College of nursing, Nellore

Abstract
The study aims are to assess the level of knowledge regarding ECG among final year B.Sc Nursing Students and to identify the relationship between the knowledge level and socio demographic variables of final year nursing students. The quantitative research approach and cross sectional descriptive design was adopted for the study. The study was conducted in Narayana college of Nursing. 30 nursing students were selected by using Non Probability Convenience Sampling Technique. Semi structured Questionnaire method was used for collecting the information from samples. Data analysis done by using descriptive and inferential statistics. The results revealed that 15 (50%) nursing students have inadequate knowledge, 6(20%) nursing students have moderately adequate knowledge and only 9 (30%) nursing students have adequate knowledge regarding ECG. The study concluded that majority of nursing students has inadequate knowledge and source of information has shown significant association with level of knowledge. Remaining socio demographic variables has shown non-significant association with the level of knowledge.
