Abstract
The densities, ρ and viscosities, η of binary mixtures of ethylene glycol with formamide, N,N-dimethyl formamide and N,N-dimethyl acetamide were calculated at 308.15 K K over the whole formulation spectrum were reported in the present study. These deviation/excess properties have been fitted to Redlich−Kister type polynomial. The strength of interactions follows the order EG+DMA > EG+DMF > EG+FA. The values of the experimental viscosity are contrasted with the values of the viscosity derived from various observational relations and are in good accordance with the values of the experiment.
