Abstract
One of the prominent & vertical growing agro based Industry spotted in Karnataka is the sugar Industry. We are very well aware that, consumption of sugar is increasing on everyday basis & so is the demand for sugar in the markets. This paper attempts to analyze the problems and prospects of sugar industry in Karnataka this paper is based mainly on the data collected from the reputed published/unpublished secondary sources. The findings depicts that the sugar industry in Karnataka has been facing certain serious problems.
