Abstract
Lord Krishna, revered as a divine strategist and philosopher, has been a perennial source of guidance in both spiritual and practical realms. The Bhagavad Gita, a discourse between Krishna and Arjuna during the Mahabharata war, is not just a sacred text but a profound manual of management and leadership. This article examines the management principles applied by Lord Krishna, focusing on decision-making, strategic planning, communication, motivation, conflict resolution, and ethical governance. Drawing insights from his life events—from his role as a charioteer in Kurukshetra to his administrative skills in Dwarka—the article explores how Krishna exemplifies transformational and situational leadership suited for modern organizational challenges. These insights are increasingly being adopted in management studies to foster holistic leadership grounded in dharma (righteousness) and pragmatism.
