AbstractPhytohormones comprise chemical compounds that are found in extremely low amounts in vegetation. They control the growth of plants, expansion, lifespan, along reproductive functions. This report is created in an attempt to investigate the nature and function of various phytohormones such as auxins, gibberellins, cytokinins, ethylene, and abscisic acid. Crops require direct sunlight, oxygen, nutrients, and micronutrients for them to develop and flourish. These include outside influences. In addition to these instances, there are additionally certain fundamental variables that influence plant development and advancement. The aforementioned are known as hormones produced by plants or " phytohormones". Hence a detailed study has been carried out to understand the benefits plant hormones have on agriculture, horticulture, and plant biotechnology.
