Abstract
Disease of the thyroid organ particularly Multinodular Goiter because of inadequacy of iodine is pervasive in India. Greatest goiter belt on the planet lies in the sub Himalayan areas and slopes of Maharashtra (Satpuda) and Vindya ranges. Multinodular goiter (MNG) just as solitary thyroid nodule (STN) are the basic types of thyroid swelling.
