Digitalization of education – A boon for the society

Digitalization means dissemination of instructions, information or knowledge online in the form of texts, videos etc. Learning becomes more prominent and interesting when discussion is done through interactive phase. Those people living in remote areas can afford higher education through digitalization. It makes life simple and comfortable. One can gain knowledge and learn at their own pace. Students can opt various learning styles to achieve their educational aims and objectives. It helps to reduce heavy workloads of modern generation and find out ways to tackle with difficult situations in different fields. It helps to develop innovative ideas and creative thinking. It also develops good reasoning power. It helps in saving trees as papers are saved with digitization. It provides proper guidance and counselling to find out solution of difficult problems. It provides variety of material related with various subjects of science, arts and humanities, social sciences etc. Through webcasts and videos, one can share their ideas and thoughts with another and can increase their social circle by online interactive process. This paper aims at explaining the role of Digitalization of Education which proves to be boon for the society.
