Abstract
This paper is, in reality, the second episode of "Faut-il brûler nos universités.?" and offers an exploratory analysis of the determinants of scientific productivity, after having exposed, in the problematic, the results of the first episode published in volume 22 of the journal IOSR Journal of Business and Management in March 2020, which demonstrated the insufficient scientific productivity among teacher-researchers at universities in the East (Grand-Nord) of the Democratic Republic of Congo. Starting from no a priori theoretical model, it exploits the various theories currently under debate in the literature review on the concerned subject. These theories are subjected to a statistical analysis from empirical data, thus leading, at the end, to the construction of an explanatory model adapted to the empirical context of the study.
