Abstract
Recent times have witnessed how public administration has adopted information and communication technology to change the traditional functioning of public sector globally to achieve efficiency and effectiveness in the service delivery to general public. With the advent of technology, Indian public administration also emphasizes to achieve this goal. In this study, e-Governance practices brings the transparency and accountability which leads to control red-tape and corruption and will reduce the role of bureaucracy in the public sector organizations and also provides the efficient and effective service to citizens.
