Credit card usability efficacy with reference to Coimbatore

Abstract
The Federal Reserve claims\r\nthat the credit card business is one of the banking sector\'s fastest-growing\r\nsegments at the moment. Indian banking institutions not only contribute\r\nsignificantly to the expansion of the economy but also provide credit\r\nfacilities to customers in the form of credit cards, enabling them to meet\r\ntheir basic needs. Plastic cards have become a common feature of Indian society\r\nbecause to the efforts of several Indian institutions, most notably the State\r\nBank of India. But this has led to a big change in the way credit is given out,\r\nespecially now that the new generation of banks is starting to encourage people\r\nto use credit cards. Finding out more about credit card performance and whether\r\nor not the product quality of credit cards can satisfy all of the expectations\r\nof the consumers are the main objectives of the research. To achieve this, a\r\nsample of 120 respondents was gathered, and data was analyzed using chi square\r\nand percentage analysis. The conclusion was that credit cards raise a person\'s\r\npurchasing power, which benefits the expansion of the economy as a whole. It is\r\nseen as a platform for consumerist consumption as well as a status symbol.\r\nAlthough credit cards are becoming more and more frequent in people\'s busy\r\nlives, they are more prevalent among urban dwellers than the general populace.\r\nIn order to improve personal income, bank operations, and the general expansion\r\nof a nation\'s financial sector and economy, it is imperative that credit cards\r\nbe promoted in rural regions as well.
