Abstract
The banking sector plays a crucial role in supporting modern businesses and national development, with strong banking systems being essential for economic growth. In this context, rural banking institutions, particularly Regional Rural Banks (RRBs), significantly contribute to the development of rural areas, especially for women entrepreneurs. Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) play a crucial role in promoting women entrepreneurship in India, particularly in rural areas where traditional financial institutions may be less accessible or less willing to provide support. By offering tailored financial products and services, RRBs help empower women entrepreneurs, enabling them to establish and expand their businesses. RRBs serve as vital instruments for fostering women entrepreneurship in rural areas by providing access to finance, training, and support networks. By addressing the unique challenges faced by women entrepreneurs, RRBs contribute significantly to economic empowerment, social upliftment, and the overall development of rural communities. The promotion of women entrepreneurship through RRBs not only enhances individual livelihoods but also strengthens the rural economy as a whole. With this backdrop the present study tried to analyse the financial assistant for entrepreneurship through RRBs in Karnataka.
