Abstract The overall incidence of repeat breeding syndrome for dairy cattle was recorded as 18.27 percent. The incidence of repeat breeding syndrome appeared to increase with advancing age and parity. Season of the year appeared to have a significant influence on the incidence of the repeat breeding syndrome. Further, cows with poor body condition score as well as with higher body condition appeared to be at a greater risk of becoming repeat breeding cows.
