Abstract
Since the silkworm is an insect that is very sensitive to external environmental factors, it is important to follow all agricultural rules during the period of feeding the worms. Productivity is one of the most desirable indicators when feeding worms. In our experiment, by exposing the silkworm to ultraviolet radiation, we achieved an increase in the mass of the silk gland and, at the same time, an improvement in silkiness. As a result, the silk diaper, compared to the control, showed a difference of 0.44-0.140 g.
