Abstract
The standing of women in any given nation is largely determined by their political participation. In India, women are revered as the embodiment of strength and sacrifice. However, when it comes to giving them authority. The male equivalents are hesitant because they fear that it would overshadow their skills and capabilities. Despite a woman's success in every field, most people are uneasy about her being in politics. The predominance of women in the region, which has mostly turned into a man's domain, is one factor contributing to this perspective. The position of women in society is the only factor influencing a country's progress. In the world, women make up half of the population. Women have always suffered in our male-dominated culture. In addition to educating our nation's men about their wrongdoings, we must empower our women on a social, economic, psychological, and political level. Everywhere, women's status remains constant. In a nation like India, the goddess is a woman, but the men in our society treat her poorly, oppress her, repress her, and take advantage of her. Due to a lack of political will and social activism, Indian women continue to be weak and vulnerable in many areas of life. The process of "empowering women" essentially consists of enhancing women's social status, expanding their access to education, helping them find work, pooling financial resources, improving their standard of life, and encouraging their active involvement in politics. A new age of women's authority in local self-government has emerged nationwide as a result of the introduction of political reservations for women.
