Information and Communication Technologies in Education (ICTE) are increasingly used in a variety of ways by higher education establishments worldwide. These tools enable documents to be generated, processed, saved and exchanged within the educational context. The use of ICT has led to the creation of a new model of teaching, both in the classroom and in open and distance learning.
In Morocco today, we are witnessing a real change in the way teaching and research are conducted. We are witnessing a spectacular evolution in information and communication technologies (ICT), which are increasingly used in a variety of ways by Moroccan public educational establishments, and integrated into both face-to-face teaching and open and distance learning. ICTs are bringing about major changes in teaching practices, transforming communication, work and training methods.
Information and communication technologies are occupying and invading all sectors of Moroccan society, including school systems. They occupy a very important place in the education market. This technological evolution has revolutionized public schools in Morocco, notably by modifying their curricula and teaching philosophy, bringing them closer to the learner, which has led to new expectations.
