AbstractIf, we think about the real and equitable development of the India like developing country is to be done, that can never be imagined without the proper and respectable development of women. In India like developing country, we have witnessed various programs and schemes in the past and at the present regarding the development of women in this great country. Women’s empowerment has been largely observed since the post-independence period till now in the 21st century and nobody can deny it. Now, in the 21st century time is coming for revisiting the ongoing programs as well as project taken by the state time to time related to the women development in the perspective on qualitative angles. On the other hand, today we cannot imagine anything without the media. Media is the part and parcel of our everyday life. So media is playing a vital role for success of anything and not only that they have also played a role of informer in the society for information dissemination which is essentially be required for the larger benefit of the society.
Therefore, in this paper we shall analyze and address some basic questions which are revealed and discussed by the academicians and policy makers and which will immensely help us for resolving the issues that are the very important topics in the current era. Are the multi-dimensional conventional actions we have seen in women development are sufficient? How can we make the characteristics of the country for sustainable development through the proper as well as respectable development of women? What will be the role and responsibility of media as well wishers, benefactor of the nation as well as a moral agent in this respect?
