Abstract
Enset (Ensete\r\nventricosum) is a staple food crop in the Sheka Zone of Ethiopia, playing a\r\nvital role in food security and rural livelihoods. However, post-harvest losses\r\nsignificantly impact the crop\'s potential benefits. Cooperative societies have\r\nemerged as crucial players in improving post-harvest handling practices. This\r\nreview examines the role of cooperative societies in enhancing post-harvest\r\nhandling of enset, focusing on their contributions to reducing losses,\r\nimproving quality, and increasing market access. The review draws on existing\r\nliterature, case studies, and empirical data to provide a comprehensive\r\nunderstanding of the impact of cooperative societies on enset post-harvest\r\nmanagement
