Abstract
The purpose of the study is to find out the Changes in The Volleyball Skill Performance Due to Reaction of Mobility Training followed by Varied Intensities of Plyometric Training. To solve the purpose 60 volleyball players from various colleges of, Tamil Nadu had been decided to examine. The age of the subjects ranged between 18 and 25. They all were healthful and normal. The range of subjects within the study become delimited to 4 groups, viz. Experimental group I (Low intensity (40-59%) plyometric training with mobility training group), experimental group II (Medium intensity (60-80%) plyometric training with mobility training group), experimental group III (High intensity 80% and above) plyometric schooling with mobility training group) and group IV-control group. The criterion skill variables decided on for the study was fore arm pass and spiking and they had been measured through standard test by Brady volleyball test and spike for accuracy test respectively. The data collected from experimental group and control groups prior to and after completion of the training period on selected variables were statistically examined for significant differences if any, by applying analysis of covariance (ANCOVA). When the F ratio of the adjusted posttest mean was found to be significant, Scheffe’s post hoc test was employed to find out the paired mean difference. All the data were analyzed using SPSS statistical package. The level of confidence was fixed at 0.05 level of significance as the number of subjects was limited and also as the selected variables might fluctuate due to various extraneous factors.
