Abstract
A 10-year-old male mixed-breed dog weighing 17 kg was presented with a history of not urinating for the past two days. A clinical exam showed a distended bladder, and X-rays revealed three urinary stones located just behind the os penis. Under general anesthesia, an urethrotomy was performed at that site, but only one stone was removed. We then opted for a cystotomy to extract the remaining stones via retrohydropulsion through the initial incision. Two additional stones were successfully removed from the bladder, followed by cystorrhaphy. The urethral incision was left open to heal by secondary intention. Normal urination resumed naturally 12 days post-surgery without any complications.
