Abstract
Visually impaired students can be educated through braille and vacal technique. In today’s perspective education is a important power to face the changing conditions in education system. In new education policy (NEP 20) those are open for disabled students to make educational system within the reach of these students. (Chaudharai and Pogat 2010) sacral stigma, barriers free environment and attitude of community are the hurdles in the development of social adjustment this is the basic reason that visually impaired students withdraw themselves social interactions and social functions adjustment of a visually impaired is arrived at a equilibrium state between his demands and satisfaction. Visually students face a continuous problem between his demand and the demands of surroundings. At the age of 14 to 18 years adjustment requires a constant interactions between the student and his surroundings. The objectives are (i) study the social and adjustment among visually impaired student. (ii) to study the social and adjustment among sighted students. (iii) to compare social and emotional adjustment between visually impaired and sighted students. Hypothesis – There will be different type of pattern of social and emotional adjustment between visually impaired and sighted students. Significant difference will be between visually impaired and sighted students on their social and emotional adjustment. Method- The descriptive survey Method is used in the present research. In which Visually impaired and sighted student’s independent variables. Total 72 students selected for study in which 35 were Visual Impaired and 37 from normal sighted students Gopal, et al. (2013) AAI is used hypothesis were confirmed of the present findings.
