The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) quality assurance framework is undergoing a major transition in the academic year 2024-2025. During this time, Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) are no longer required to submit the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR). The IQAC-led institutional quality assurance projects carried out during the NAAC AQAR transitional year (2024-2025) are described in this abstract. The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) remained a key tool for maintaining and enhancing the institution's culture of quality even in the absence of required AQAR submission. The systematic documenting of academic, administrative, and infrastructure activities in accordance with current NAAC standards and projected future frameworks like the Benchmarking and Assessment Framework (BAF) and Maturity Based Graded Levels (MBGL) was prioritized during this time. In terms of internal quality audits, stakeholder feedback systems, faculty development programs, student-focused activities, digitalization of academic procedures, and outcome-based teaching methods, the institution took a proactive stance. In preparation for new platforms like the Online Nexus of Digital Quality (ONOD), particular focus was placed on data preparedness and digital quality tracking. The transitional year's efforts show the institution's dedication to ongoing accountability, openness, and quality improvement. The institution reinforced institutional excellence and made sure it was ready for future NAAC assessment models by upholding organized internal quality processes and evidence-based documentation. In order to support long-term academic and organizational development, this abstract emphasizes the strategic role of IQAC in managing the transitional phase and maintaining quality assurance standards beyond mandatory compliance.
