Abstract
FDI has a major role tornplay in the economic development of the host country. Over the years, foreignrndirect investment has helped the economies of the host countries to obtain arnlaunching pad from where they can make further improvements. This trend hasrnmanifested itself in the last twenty years. Any form of foreign directrninvestment pumps in a lot of capital knowledge and technological resources intornthe economy of a country. The present paper attempts to analyze significance ofrnthe FDI Inflows in Indian industry since 1991 and relating the growth of FDI.
