AbstractThe purpose of the study was to compare the SAI Hockey Skill Test between the hockey players of registered club and non registered club of Baramulla (j & k). The subjects selected for this study were 50 hockey players of two clubs of Baramulla. Out of 50 hockey players 25 players (boys) were selected from registered club and 25 players were selected from non registered club for this study. The age of these players Were ranged between 12 to 14 years. The criterion variables selected for this study were the three test items of SAI hockey skill test. Comparison of SAI hockey skill test between the hockey players of registered club and non registered club independent
t ratio was applied.
Result: The study showed that shooting in the target and moving with the ball showed significant difference between registered club and non registered club (p< 0.05). It is concluded that registered club boys have better skills in hockey than non registered club boys.
