Leading indications in pregnancy period [Dr. H.C. Allen.]

This article is about the use of homoeopathic medicines from Allen’s Keynotes for various illnesses occurring during pregnancy. It will be helpful to find various drugs used for illness during pregnancy easily and quickly.
Definition of pregnancy: Pregnancy is the term used to describe the period in which a foetus develops inside a woman’s womb or uterus.
Duration of pregnancy: The duration of pregnancy is calculated in terms of 10 lunar months or 9 calendar months and 7 days or 280 days or 40 weeks, calculated from the first day of the last menstrual period. This is called ‘Gestational Age’.
Common complications of pregnancy: Morning sickness, hyperemesis gravidarum, Urinary Tract Infections, Gestational diabetes mellitus, pre-eclampsia, eclampsia, miscarriage, TORCH infection.
Homoeopathy during pregnancy: Is safe for female to use during pregnancy and postnatally, including breast-feeding. It is a gentle yet effective system of medicine and the remedies are highly diluted and are not crude drugs, so they cannot harm the baby.
In aphorism 94, Dr. Hannemann has said that it is especially necessary to pay attention to pregnancy, sterility, sexual desire, accouchements, miscarriages, suckling and the state of menstrual discharge.
