AI Generated Content Policy
The
International Journal of Applied Research (IJAR) has a strict policy on AI-generated content in research papers. This policy ensures that all research is original, ethical, and high-quality. The publisher and editors are not responsible for this violation. The author is fully responsible for their work.
1. Disclosure Requirement
Authors must explicitly disclose the use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools in their manuscript. This includes, but is not limited to:
- AI-generated text, images, figures, tables, or graphs,
- AI-assisted data analysis or interpretation,
- AI-supported translations or language modifications.
Failure to disclose AI-assisted content will be considered a breach of research ethics, and strict action will be taken against the author(s), if the matter comes in knowledge of publisher or editor(s). The journal does not verify AI usage; the sole responsibility for transparency and accuracy lies with the authors.
2. Authorship Restriction
AI-generated content cannot be credited as an author. Authorship is strictly reserved for human contributors who have made substantial intellectual contributions to the research. AI tools may assist in writing, but they cannot be listed as an author.
All co-authors must acknowledge their direct involvement in the study’s conceptualization, methodology, analysis, and manuscript preparation. The corresponding author must ensure that no AI-generated content is falsely presented as human-created work.
3. Accountability
The publisher and editorial board are not responsible for verifying AI-generated content in submitted manuscripts. It is the sole responsibility of the corresponding author to ensure that AI-generated content does not introduce:
- Factual inaccuracies,
- Biases,
- Ethical violations such as plagiarism or data manipulation.
Any errors, misinformation, or misrepresentations arising from AI assistance remain the full responsibility of the authors. The journal will not accept AI-assisted errors as a defense for ethical violations.
4. Ethical Compliance
AI tools must not be used for:
- Fabricating or manipulating data,
- Generating plagiarized content,
- Violating ethical research standards.
All AI-assisted outputs must be thoroughly verified before submission. The publisher and editors are not responsible for any unethical use of AI tools by authors.
Violation and Punishment Policy
The International Journal of Applied Research (IJAR) maintains a zero-tolerance policy for violations of this AI content policy. If an author breaches this policy, the following disciplinary actions will apply:
Immediate Withdrawal
If a manuscript is found to contain undisclosed or unethical AI-generated content, it will be immediately withdrawn from journal’s website, with no possibility of reconsideration.
Author Suspension
The author(s) responsible for the violation will be suspended from publishing in the journal for six (6) months. During this period, they will be prohibited from submitting any new manuscripts.
Permanent Blacklisting
In cases of repeated violations, the author(s) will face permanent blacklisting, preventing them from submitting to The International Journal of Applied Research (IJAR) indefinitely.
